1st Friday Etsy Shop Feature & Giveaway

Welcome to another 1st Friday Feature Day!Have you ever shopped on Etsy?  It is a fantastic place!  I love the convenience of hunting online for certain unique and creative items, and Etsy is full of them!  Etsy shops are limited to selling items that fall into one of three categories:  handmade, vintage, or craft supplies. Since it’s “opening” in 2005, Etsy has grown into a viable marketplace for the small business owner, and has become the go-to shopping destination for many people searching for that perfect item to finish out their collection or craft project.

I love small businesses (I am one myself!), so I thought showcasing some of my favorite Etsy shops would be a fun way to support other small businesses and share more great finds with Lost & Found’s readers.

This month’s featured shop is Lemony Stitch.I love this shop because it’s owner, Julie, seems to have all of the seamstress skills that I so desperately lack 🙂  Her stitched fabric banners are just adorable, and I wanted to make sure to share her shop with you this month so you can check out her wonderful collection of Christmas themed banners.

Here is a little more about Julie and Lemony Stitch in her own words:

Hey All! This is Julie from Lemony Stitch! I’m the momma of four kiddos and I love to play legos and sneak time for a good book. When my little ones are napping and the big kids are at school I can be found in my studio sewing for you!! I opened Lemony Stitch this year and have loved connecting with clients and sending little packages of fun fabrics to my new friends!!

Whew!  4 kids! I only have 3, and I am barely functioning most days 🙂  I am super impressed with what Julie produces in her spare time.

Like this adorable Strawberry Banner, made out of vintage fabric.Or this little Sweet Baby banner.Her Christmas themed banners are the star of the show though!  I think my favorite is the Winter Decoration Banner.  I think the color scheme and pattern is very unique.I also love the Pom Pom Christmas banner.And for those of you who prefer muted Christmas decor, her Natural Christmas Banner made from red ticking is perfect.For most of her banners, Julie also has matching miniature “Scrappy Flags” available. She also has as a few beautiful original watercolor PNG files available for download (she is a multi-talented lady!)
