The ultimate goal of any vintage market business is to sell your items, right? Adding seasonal touches not only helps your booth feel inviting to customers, but I strongly believe it can also help increase your sales!

Customers are already out looking for items that fit with what’s happening in their world. If we can synch up our inventory to match their moods and desires, sales will come more easily.

Antique Booth Display Tips for Fall

Fall has become the second most popular season for home decor, right behind Christmas and the winter holidays.

Besides the typical pumpkins and fall leaves, there are a lot of other vintage decor items that sell well during the fall.

Here’s a list of some great ideas for fall-themed inventory:

  • Warm wood accents and furniture
  • Copperware
  • Vintage crocks, pottery bowls, and kitchen utensils
  • Hunting-themed items (art, glassware, and yes, even taxidermy!)
  • Baskets and other storage items
  • Vintage school supplies
  • Items used for Halloween decor–old photos, black metal candelabras, apothecary bottles
  • Glassware, serving ware, and table linens (to prepare for the Thanksgiving dinner table)
  • Brass and other metallic items
  • Vintage quilts and afghans

Along with these items, you can help create that cozy feeling of fall by adding dried leaves, pumpkins, wheat sheaves, and dried grasses to your display. Also focus on finding items that fit with fall colors, like golden yellow, maroon, hunter green, and even navy blues.
